Installing Automatio's Chrome Extension​

Automatio's Chrome Extension is essential for interacting with websites, automating actions, and scraping data. Installing it is quick and simple, allowing you to start automating right away. Follow the steps below to install the extension and get started.

1. Install the Extension​

  1. Go to the Automatio Chrome Extension page on the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Click Add to Chrome and confirm by clicking Add Extension in the popup.

2. Pin the Extension​

To access the extension easily:

  1. Click the puzzle icon (Extensions menu) in your browser toolbar.
  2. Find Automatio Chrome Extension and click the pin icon.

3. Log In​

The login process depends on whether you’re already logged into the Automatio app:

  1. If you’re logged into the Automatio dashboard:
    • Opening the Chrome Extension will automatically log you in.
  2. If you’re not logged into the Automatio dashboard:
    • A login form will appear when you open the Chrome Extension.
    • You can log in using:
      • Email and Password: Enter your Automatio account credenials.
      • Token: Use the token available in your Automatio dashboard.
  3. If you don’t have an account:
    • You will be prompted to sign up for an Automatio account.
    • Follow the steps in the Creating an Account section of this documentation.

Troubleshooting​

If you encounter any issues while installing the extension:

  • Ensure that you are using the latest version of Chrome.
  • Try reinstalling the extension by removing it from Chrome and following the steps above again.
